Tras la buena experiencia que fue trabajar juntos en la Expo 92, Michael Nyman vuelve a reunirse con la Orquesta Chekara de Tetuán para retomar el espectáculo que presentaron en Sevilla. Junto a los sonidos ancestrales de la Orquesta Chekara de Tetuán, estrena la obra Upside-down violin. La Orquesta Chekara de Tetuán representa por todo el mundo el legado de una cultura milenaria a través de nubas, danzas marroquíes y músicas que evocan la nostalgia de los árabes por la antigua Al-Andalus.

...y a su vez agradece a su banda y a la orquesta de Tanger

Amigos momentos inolvidables esta noche mágica y encuentro entre culturas.
Una primera parte con la Michael Nyman Band en solitario, con las de Greenaway y alguna cosa nueva (nada de EL PIANO), una segunda parte de la Orquesta Chekara, sonidos del norte de Africa con algunas composiciones, sobretodo en el inicio magnificas y una tercera y ultima parte con ambas bandas juntas con apoteosis final que tuvo dos bises.

Tengo la grabacion con el mp3 (un pen mp3) del concierto, no de buena calidad pero bien equalizado algo se puede aprovechar, quizas para oir el repertorio,
